MOSCOW, Apr 6 (PRIME) -- Gazprom Energoholding, a power affiliate of Gazprom, plans to launch the first unit of the Groznenskaya TES power plant in 2018 and the second in January–June 2019, CEO Denis Fyodorov told PRIME on Friday.

“If they (the turbines) arrive on time, there are no significant delays, then, I think, we will launch the first unit until the end of the year and the next until the middle of the next year,” Fyodorov said.

The contract to build the plant amounts to 25 billion rubles, he said.

Groznenskaya TES with a capacity of 360 megawatts (MW) is built under a capacity supply agreement guaranteed return on investment but envisaging fine for launch delay.
